Project Name
Centre for Entrepreneurship
Brief Project description
The Centre for Entrepreneurship is a program implemented under the umbrella of the Kenyan-German TVET Initiative (KGTI) which provides a first point of contact for young people who want to set up a business or need support for their young business.
The young entrepreneurs are benefiting from an individual promotion package, which is tailored to the entrepreneurs needs and can contain access to finance, training, mentoring, and access to co-working spaces. The Technical Cooperation through the GIZ will strengthen the capacity of the Centre for Entrepreneurship as service provider for growth oriented start-ups and young entrepreneurs in the formal and informal sectors and support the Kenyan Government in policy issues related to Enterprise Development.
The services itself are not provided by the Financial Cooperation (FC) but by accredited private providers. Instead, the FC is financing vouchers which can be redeemed at the private providers.
